The Baccong-Pongas canyon is one of Sagada's hidden glories; a series of dramatic and beautiful waterfalls flowing down a deep gash in the ridge west of Sagada. This magical place was virtually inaccessible until we explored it, designed safety systems, installed bolts, and brought in the equipment and training needed to make technical canyoning safe. Today it is one of Sagada's most exciting adventures.

Canyon trips leave Sagada at 7:30AM and are usually back by 5PM. There's a 1.5hr hike, and then we're rappelling, scrambling, swimming, and jumping. Life jackets are available for non-swimmers. We run this trip from October to May as water and rainfall permit, and we do not go into the canyon when there is flash flood risk. The trip includes transport, guides, equipment, lunch... and epic excitement!
